Robert works as a researcher for DSSS as well as shouldering the responsibility as a managing trustee of ‘Navjeevan Samajik Mandal’ (tribal welfare centre) & Pastor of Holy Cross Church at Navsari. Robert is a long member of Dignity International, Hagaai Institute, Indian sociologists Association, Institute of Indian Culture and Priest of (Catholic) Mission Diocese of Baroda. He has traveled in many countries like Japan, Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, USA and Canada.
Dediapada Social Service Society (DSSS) is a registered voluntary organization as well as an umbrella organization for undertaking multiple developmental and social activities for the welfare of local tribal communities at the grass-roots. It runs various programs and activities such as boarding schools, soil conservation, seed banks, health and hygiene, watershed programs, micro-finance, model livestock farming and agricultural farm, women’s association, cultural study centre, village Shamans association, social forestry, mini-irrigation schemes, small self-help groups (women), adult literacy programs, and political awareness programs.
