iLEAP International Fellowship Program

The iLEAP International Fellowship is a three month, intensive training designed to strengthen and expand the leadership capacities of experienced social change leaders from Asia, Africa and Latin America.   The program works to foster and deepen relationships between iLEAP Fellows and the global development sector in Washington state.

The central themes of the iLEAP International Fellowship are: Collaboration and Partnership, Leadership, Digital Media and Communication, and Sustainability.

What makes the iLEAP International Fellowship unique is how it challenges participants to learn and grow with head, heart, and hands.  In the program, iLEAP Fellows experience significant personal growth, deepen their sense of vocation, find new ways of leading social change, and extend their networks of support and collaboration across the globe.

Our programs focus on leadership and social innovation and are designed to promote personal growth, deepen a sense of vocation, inspire creativity, and advance professional development.  Our training programs are diverse and challenge participants to learn and grow with head, heart, and hands. Through this integrated process, our graduates emerge with the practical skills, critical thinking, and global community of support necessary to create sustainable social change in the world.

The Fellowship program is very rigorous and iLEAP invests in leaders who have a demonstrated life-long commitment to service and community and are at the point in their professional life where they can benefit from an extended period of reflection and inquiry combined with new ideas and relationships. We elect to bring these leaders to Seattle for the training because, guided by our Mission and Vision, we believe in the power of relationships to spark cross-cultural collaboration and creative partnerships toward positive, sustainable change, and that these grass-roots social leaders have a great deal to teach those in North America.
